Do you want to feel confident and empowered?

Online and in-person therapy in California and South Carolina for women with anxiety and depression and who needs healing from narcissism, fatherlessness or addiction in the family.

I am here to provide a safe space, help you process your experience, teach you healthy coping skills and self-care strategies, have more fulfilling relationships, and much more.

You will walk away feeling empowered, independent, able to forgive the past, and look forward to the future. You will either end your unhealthy relationships or move forward in them with new skills and expectations. If you also have children, you will learn to love and respect yourself and teach them the same.

It’s certainly hard work, but it can be done. Let’s get started!

You feel lonely, anxious, depressed, maybe even confused. Don’t you wish you had the tools to change that? You’ve come to the right place.

I help women just like you: women who have it within them to heal from their abandonment or dysfunctional/alcoholic household, but they just need the support to get there. I help my clients gain confidence and have fulfilling relationships within themselves and others by giving them the coping and communication skills and tools they need to grow, change and feel empowered.

I have always been fascinated with human behavior and psychology, and I knew I wanted to help people.

I utilize a non-judgmental, motivational approach to therapy with various techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I will encourage you to practice other types of therapy, such as journaling, art and exercising.

I understand that life is not always easy. I am here to empower you, to pick you up when you are down, and to motivate you to keep on going and embrace life today - and every day.

Meet Alanna

Online and in-person therapy in California and South Carolina for women with anxiety and depression and who needs healing from narcissism, fatherlessness or addiction in the family.

I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) in Southern California and South Carolina. I earned my Master of Science degree in Marriage & Family Therapy at California State University, Dominguez Hills, and I have been practicing for nine years.

I have dedicated my life’s work to women who have been impacted by family dysfunction, whether that be due to alcoholism, violence in the home, abandonment, emotionally unavailable parents, and trauma.

I not only have professional experience and training, but I “get it” on a personal level. My father was an alcoholic and was not present in my life for the majority of my life. He passed away years ago. I understand the impact that growing up without a father has had on me and my relationships. With help, I learned to forgive my father and separated him from myself, so that I had the space to figure out what I needed and deserved in a relationship.

I became a therapist so that I could help women with similar experiences and struggles. I would be honored to be given the opportunity to help you.
